a little bird

A little bird, in a cage, sat sweetly singing one beautiful, ordinary day. She was loved by her master, adored and cherished. Each day the sun rose, she knew her master would peer through her cage doors and whisper, "good morning." Each day, he did. Until one day, he came home and opened her cage door. He picked up the little bird and took her outside. He gave her a kiss on her beautiful feathers and released her into the air. She flew around for a while and landed on a branch. When she looked back to see her master's sweet face, he was gone. The door was locked and she was all alone. She flew to the windowsill and looked into her home. Through sad, heartbroken tears, she saw another bird with even more beautiful feathers than she could imagine resting in her cage. Her broken heart carried her far away from that windowsill. She never flew home again.

Did you write that? Who's your master? What does this mean? English majors think on a different level than anyone else...haha I love ya Erica! If you wrote this I think you are amazing..if you didn't write it, I still think you are amazing!

Yes. I wrote it. I just sat down one night and wrote it. No real thought behind it other than I was having issues with how fleeting feelings of love seem. Love is so fragile and fleeting, like a caged bird who is set free. That is what I was getting at with this. :) Thanks Millhouse! I love you, too!
